A donut Our lab is testing a strain that creates a body stasis to help triage patients whose bodies go into shock. We test on cadavers we purchase from a company. Some of them smell like they are homeless. A girl complained about the smell and asked why some smelled so bad. She was fired the next day. We don't dispose of the post experiment cadavers, we resell them to other labs.. LINK

A donut We people are recruited as engineers and we undergo a lot of training our company invest immensely in training.
The managerial trainings we get are all from very reoputed fecilitating organizations or people.

So, in one such training the trainer asked have you ever thanked your parents, have you ever callled your mother to say mumma I love you i wanna thank you for whatever you did for me.

on this two people of our trainees batch started crying.

I was not able to relate the traininers word with what was in my mind and why people were crying..

Ok they became emotional but can we have a second thought that we dont require to do certain things a hug to my mother tells her how much i love her and its my way of doing.... LINK

“The value of a name at a Bank!”
A donut I just started woking as a telemarketer at a Canadian bank. For those who have worked in call centres, after training new employees typically get a diploma confirming training completion.

On my diploma they rampantly misspelled my last name. I have an Indian last name, and my last name was spelled like my boss's first name.

Two days after looking at the major mistake, I asked my boss if I can get the name changed. His response was "No, do you want to see how many diplomas have spelling errors?" I was fuming and I knew I would soon leave this dump.

The day after I told my boss I took his comments personally since my name has not changed in 28.5 years. I told him I am sure people mess up his name, he confirmed to me that on his University Diploma, his name was misspelled.

He got the name changed and I quit a week later. LINK

“Target completion”
A donut We, three team members, were gathered at one cubicle and were discussing about some defects when our Senior Project Manager (SPM) came. We were little worried as he had told in the last meeting that the defect count in our project was raising and should be checked. He saw three of us standing there actively discussing something technical which he could not understand. He was in a very happy mood, and saw one more team member approaching the scene with a slip on which was written a defect number. And here is what followed:

SPM: (smiling) Defects?
One of us nodded, and the fourth guy talks something about his defect to us.
SPM: One more defect...good

SPM moves off to the next cubicle where a Junior Project Manager (JPM) sits.

SPM: What is the planned work % to be completed?
JPM: 30
SPM: How much did we complete?
JPM: 27
SPM: Any surprises?
JPM: no
SPM: (happily) good

And left the place ! LINK

“World's laziest job”
A donut It's an interesting change of pace when your friend comes into your busy shoe department at 7:30pm to complain about her lazy job.

She works as a secretary at a car dealership. Her main job is to ask other employees or the boss to come to the desk for some reason (usually a phone call). However, her boss tends to sleep in a room upstairs, and turns off the speaker, so to reach him she must call his cell phone. Except to combat this he occasionally turns off his cell phone, too.

Her coworkers aren't much different. She estimates that only about 10% of the time do they actually come when she calls them. Not because they're too busy, but just because they can't be bothered. LINK
